Giraffe
A giraffe is a beautiful animal with great
big brown spots. Below are some giraffe facts and giraffe
pictures. The giraffe is the tallest mammal in the world. Male
giraffes can be over 5 metres tall and can weigh over 4000
pounds. Female giraffes are generally 1-2 feet shorter than
male giraffes and weigh several hundred pounds less than the
males do.
Giraffes' brown spots
As you can see in the pictures of giraffes
below, giraffes have beautiful large brown spots covering their
entire bodies, except their underbellies which you cannot
really see very well. Each giraffe has a unique pattern of
large brown spots. There are no two identical giraffes in the
world.

Giraffe Pictures
Being the tallest land animal, Giraffes have
long neck usually about 8 to 10 feet long and their forelegs
are longer than hind legs. The long neck of a giraffe comes in
handy for browsing tall trees for leaves which are what they
eat most of the time. Both male giraffes and female giraffes
have horns. Female giraffes have only 2 horns, but male
giraffes can have more of them. Some males can have even 5
horns. Overall, giraffes are tall, beautiful and peaceful
animals.
